If you prefer one brand or manufacturer to another, type it into the respective field. Fill in the Model/Codename field if you search for a specific model, model series or codaname.

Which kind of audio jack (for analog audio out) do you prefer? And the speaker? Mono loudspeaker means one, stereo means two built-in loudspeaker and there are sorrund sound systems too.

Select a specific operating system in the first field OR use the second field if you prefer an OS family and the specific OS is irrelevant for you. It is senseless to select an OS and a platform too.

Detailed display parameters, like color depth, diagonal and resolution. You can search for an exact display resolution if you enter the same numbers into to maximum and minimum horizantal resolution fields and/or maximum and minimum vertical resolution fields. Some devices also have a secondary display. You can look for for devices with a specific kind of video out.

Traditaional mobile phones, Pocket PC Phones, Smartphones & Communicators have integrated cellular phone module (Cellular Networks and Bands) which allows the user to make voice and data calls (Cellular Data Links) on the go. Tick check boxes off which are necessary for you in a mobile phone. You can also define maximal Specific Absorption Rate of radio waves (SAR) for body and head.

Some mobile phones has two integrated cellular phone modules (Dual Cellular Operation) which allows the user to easily switch between cellular modules (Selectable cellular module) or use two active cellular modules at the same time (Parallel operation). Select an imager sensor if camera must be integrated. Enter minimum resolution (horizantal x vertical).

Select those comminication features which must be integrated in your device.

Select one type of positioning devices. Would you like to use built-in keyboard or jog wheel? Select a specific type or exclude the feature by choosing the No option.

Do you need built-in GPS module and/or complementary GPS services? Choose a GPS features and/or an antenna type.

Choose a battery build up and a battery technology if these are important for you. If the long battery life is a significant factor for you fill in Min. battery capacity and/or Min. battery life fields
