| Description: Beginning January 31, original myTouch 3G devices (no headphone jack) on Android 2.2 (Froyo) / Software FRG83 or FRG83D will receive a software update to version FRK76C. This update is to apply the Google security fix. It will continue until February 27. This update will not apply to: - Original myTouch 3G on Android 1.5 or 1.6 - myTouch 3G with headphone jack - myTouch 3G LE Note: Google no longer supports sending Android 2.2.1 (Froyo) / Software FRG83 Over-the-Air (OTA) updates to legacy T-Mobile myTouch 3G devices. The devices have exceeded Googles support period. Important: The timeline for receiving the update cannot be expedited. T-Mobile cannot manually push the software update on request. |
